Body Paint

Hello and thanks for your interest in working with me.
Most of my projects these days involve body paint. If we set up a painting shoot, then I will be either practicing designs on you or painting a design that I want to showcase here on my site. I also occasionally paint people for special events. My work has been seen in several Masquerotica events in San Francisco, a Comic convention and other venues. It has won more then one contest at these events. That being said, I do not consider myself a "Pro."
If you are new to body painting, you should be aware of several things:
The paint can go anywhere (depending on the specific project). It is non-toxic, hypo-allergenic face and body paint meant for this purpose.
Although I occasionally have used an airbrush or other methods of applying the paint, most of the time I use simple hand held brushes. This means that I will have to rest my wrist against your body at times (Like you rest your wrist on a desk as you write), especially when painting details. I always try to do this in locations that will be comfortable for you and not in any sensitive areas. I also at times have to hold parts of your skin tight or in a certain position while I paint. I will try to touch you as little as possible, but I can't paint you without touching you at all.
I can't paint over hair, so you will need to have clean shaved underarms and genital area. The small hairs on arms and body are fine.
The brush can tickle a little, but it has never been a problem.
You will have to be painted in the same pose that you will be shot in. This is because the body changes shape when you change position and the paint image can be distorted. This means for most projects you will need to be standing. For large or detailed projects you may be standing for some time. You will also have to hold parts of your body still while paint dries (it dries fast) so it won't smear. You will generally need to hold as still as you can as I paint, especially details, so I can make straight lines, etc. I am getting skilled at painting moving targets, but the less movement the better. I don't paint in any hurry and you can take breaks.
If this is not for an event, then I will most likely paint you, shoot a few photos of the finished project and then you will wash it off for the next design. It's a long process for just a few photos and it can seem odd to models who are not used to it and who are used to posing all different ways while the photographer clicks away hundreds of shots.
Before I schedule a shoot, I will need to know what I am working with. I will want to see a head to toe nude image from front, back and side. If I have already seen this from your port or page, then never mind. If not, I will be asking you for them.
